The Stable Dural is a beautiful architect designed accommodation located on rural acres in Dural NSW. It is self-contained with a large lounge/ dining area, kitchen, bathroom and laundry on the ground floor and a queen size bedroom with veranda on the upper floor.

The Stable is situated in a quiet rural setting looking out on horse paddocks and tall gum trees. The building was completed in late 2017 occupying the spot where our horse stable once stood. If you are looking for privacy and the sound of birds this is the place for you.

A complimentary bottle of wine is supplied on arrival. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate and milk are provided for the first 1 to 2 days of each booking.

We live in the house which is about 20 metres away. We would aim to welcome all our guests and would be only too pleased to chat and talk from time to time during your stay. Please knock on our door anytime during the day. Our Labradoodle 'Charlie' will be pleased to talk to you anytime. We have a key safe system for late arrivals.

This was our first visit to the Sydney area and were we glad we opted for The Stable. This property was only renovated last year from an old stable block and is wonderful with just about all Mod Cons. We made use of both the...More

About the neighbourhood
We are just 10mins drive from the nearest shops and restaurants in Galston and Dural Villages. Both have post offices, medical centres and supermarkets.

The local area has many orchards growing stone fruit and citrus. These products and others can be bought from street stalls during the summer season. There are many plant nurseries nearby such as Swanes, Hargraves, Flower Power, etc.

The beautiful Fagan Park is only 10 mins drive away and Berowra Waters with its fish cafe, Waterview restaurant/ reception centre and the marina is about 20 minute drive. Springfield Reception Centre and Bivianos are nearby.
Getting around
Public transport is minimal in the area. There are some lovely drives to local parks and nearby waterways. These and others will be detailed in our House Information book. If you wanted to go to Sydney city you have the option of driving - about 45 mins, a bus service departs about 10 mins drive away, or a train service from Hornsby station which is about 25 mins drive away.
We are in close proximity to M2, M7 and F1 motorways. Castle Hill and Hornsby shopping centres with cinemas and Norwest Business Park are all about a 20-25 mins drive away.
