We spent a lovely relaxing week at Tinker's Retreat with our 2 energetic Hungarian Vizslas. As we were only 2 ‘humans’ we had the choice of 3 double bedrooms and were similarly spoilt for choice where to sit in the spacious the hot tub. The...More

Tessa. Delighted that you had a great week for doing just what holidays are for - relaxing. More importantly that your two Vizslas had a great time too. Doing the changeover after your departure was a sheer delight - you left the property immaculate -...More

Emma and Alex were very hospitable and helpful. However, the rental is very overpriced. I did not realize at time of booking that it was only the downstairs of the house that was rented out. The pillows and bed are uncofortable.More

About the neighbourhood
The beautiful sandy beaches are less than 5 miles away and the Norfolk Broads less than 3. Ideally located for exploring. Beautiful walks in the village with a village pub that welcomes dogs. There is also a railway station where you can catch the local train into Norwich. Fancy splashing about on the water? Then hire a boat for the day on the Broads - lots of boatyards within a couple of miles.
Getting around
There is a railway station in the village but it is a rural location so if you want to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside and beaches it is recommended you have a car or bike.

1. Head for the village church in the middle of the village and find Westwick Road which runs alongside the church.

You will come to a junction and The Old Vicarage lies on the left hand sharp bend of this junction on your left hand side.
