About the neighbourhood
The cottage is located in the picturesque village of Thurne, a small conservation village that is home to the famous Thurne drainage mill; one of the most iconic mills on the Broads, popular with painters and photographers, and featured in television documentaries by both David Dimbleby and Alan Titchmarsh. Here you can enjoy wonderful riverside walks and the footpaths dotted across the countryside, including the long distance footpath 'The Weavers Way' that passes through the village.
