Edge Farm is a 200 year old farmhouse and has been totally refurbished to a very high standard providing modern well equipped and comfortable accommodation. This property is ideal for large families or groups of walkers or friends.

South facing, Edge Farm boasts spectacular views, a lawned garden ,waterfall and covered pond, and ample parking for up to six vehicles. There is a large patio area with garden furniture and giant chess.

Inside Edge Farm the sympathetic renovation has retained the character whilst many original features remain. The property is fully centrally heated with underfloor heating on the ground floor.

Edge Farm is available for weekend, mid-week and weekly vacations during the low season. We have a minimum 3 nights rental. During July/August and Christmas/New Year our minimum booking is for 1 week. Payment can be made by either cheque or electronic bank transfer.(Ask owner for details).

About the neighbourhood
Nidderdale is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Edge Farm is ideally suited for walkers, as the Nidderdale Way runs along the back of the farm. There are many walks and bridleways in the upper dale and further up the valley are two reservoirs, Angram and Scar House, overlooked by Great and Little Whernside. Other neighbouring dales include Lower Wensleydale, Coverdale, Wharfedale and Uredale.

Lofthouse village is 3 miles down the road and has one pub, The Crown, which serves excellent food and ale. Local places of interest include How Stean Gorge, (known locally as Little Switzerland), with its bridges, caves and gorge walks and a café where lunches and snacks are served. Brimham Rocks, Stump Cross Caverns and the market town of Pateley Bridge are all worth a visit. Go...
