Go up the winding staircase and you will find two separate bedrooms both with ample storage. The main bedroom has a double bed. The second has a triple bunk ( double on bottom, single on top ). So perfect for adults and children. The village has lots of nearby cosy pubs. Greyhound Inn (closed at the moment) which serves good pub food (until 7pm) is the closest but please check opening times and availability in advance. With a convenience store and Post Office/Spar only a few yards away you won’t be short of supplies. Stogursey also boasts an 11th century church, castle ruins and a natural well. There is plenty of cycling, walking and wildlife in the surrounding countryside. As well as that why not go exploring in the Quantock and Mendip Hills or Exmoor National Park. With the beaches of Minehead, Weston-Super-Mare and the jurassic beach of Kilve. The quaint harbour town of Watchet where you can jump aboard a Steam Train are all a short drive away, Fishing, Golf and Horse Riding are all nearby too. The cottage also has a patio and private garden for them purely relaxing days ************************************************************************************** Children are very welcome and there is always a few old fashioned games in the cupboard. It is worth pointing out though that the house is old. There is a winding stars which some small children my need help with. There are bunk beds but it’s up to you if you let them sleep in the top. The bathroom is down stairs. That being said kids have stayed before and loved it. ************************************************************************************** For more information/pictures Google ‘Angel Cottage Stogursey’ Guest access There is a small patio area outside the back door with table and chairs. You can smoke here but please no bbq. The garden is at the rear behind your car space. It is marked no 8. It is grassed with a picnic bench. If you have a bbq this is the place to have it. You’ll also find a clothes line here. There is also a large outbuilding at the end of the garden perfect for bicycles. Other things to note Please be considerate as there are other holiday cottage as well as permanent residents. More

About the neighbourhood
A short walk across the road leads down to the ruins of an 11th century castle. You will also pass and an old water mill. The church in the village also dates from the 11th century. St Andrews Well and ancient cross are also within a minutes walk. Within a few miles there is a Kilve, a jurassic beach by the East Quantock hills, that’s crammed with fossils. Watchet, a lovely small harbor and Steart Marshes,a beautiful wildlife walk are only a short drive.West Somerset Railway, the longest heritage line in England also operates near by. Drive a little further and you’ll find Western Super Mare, Cheddar Gorge, Burnham On Sea and Glastonbury which are all less than an hour away.
Getting around
Car is the easiest but there is a bus that goes between Bridgwater and Minehead stopping in the village but you should check the frequency and times in advance so as not to be disappointed. Walking and cycling are very popular.
