Situated in the heart of the beautiful Devon countryside, along a private drive and away from any hustle and bustle. The 10 stone built cottages are set around sheltered water gardens, and enjoy a tranquil rural atmosphere, three of them with beautiful views across the rolling green meadow to Kitchen Lake, while the others have a range of private courtyard outdoor spaces or views of the well established gardens. Mown paths meander through the camping meadow, leading to the woodland walk and round 6 of the lakes, where over 50 species of birds have been spotted.

About the neighbourhood
Holsworthy and Hatherleigh are small friendly market towns, both have a number of pubs with restaurants. Holsworthy has a market on Wednesday selling a variety of local produce. Hatherleigh has a market on Tuesday mornings with auctions of birds and small animals, plants, shrubs and household effects. Many stalls sell all sorts of things and the pubs have local brewed beers and good food.

How to get there
From Exeter at the end of M5 take A30 to Okehampton. In the centre of Okehampton at the lights turn right on to the A386 to Hatherleigh. At Hatherleigh (7miles) turn left on to A3072 Holsworthy / Bude. Travel for 7 miles then turn left at the sign Chilla 2 miles, Kingslakes is 3/4 of a mile along this road on the left. (also signposted on the main road) Try not to deviate from these directions or you could have problems finding us. For satnav the post code is EX21 5JS.
