We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage. Clean, well presented and warm (thanks to that great underfloor heating). The welcome treats were a wonderful surprise.

About the neighbourhood
For those who prefer to walk or cycle, the area offers a lacework of quiet country roads and lanes, ideal for rambling along to explore at your leisure. And when you've had your look around the area, there's a guarantee of a snug warm house with under floor heating and a wood burning stove for those times when you need to see a real fire. There is a family run supermarket to stock up on food supplies within a minute by car or five minutes walk and if shopping in a larger scale is your preference, then the city of Newry with two major shopping centres is just fifteen minutes drive away. Mountain biking, golf, angling and water activities are all within a fifteen minute drive of Sally's Garden Cottage and the Burren area is laced with beautiful little roads for a walk or a longer ramble....
How to get there
Sat Nav BT343PY GETTING THERE Whether approaching from Belfast (North) or Dublin (South) head first for Newry and follow A2 signs for Warrenpoint and Kilkeel. Follow dual carriageway A2 and as you approach Warrenpoint, you pass an old Norman Castle (Narrow Water Keep) on your right. A few metres further on you'll come to a roundabout, at the centre is a big silver coloured elk sculpture. From this roundabout, please take the first exit on your left, the Mound Road, follow for about 1 mile until you reach a crossroads. Go more or less straight across, continuing to follow signs for Burren. Continue up a long hill until you pass a church on your left, then take the second left after church into Carrogs Road. Drive along the Carrogs Road a few hundred metres, past a football pitch on your ri...
