A privately owned holiday home on Pueblo Patricia (Playa 2) in Los Alcazares,near Murcia, on the Mar Menor - 5 minutes pleasant walk through communal gardens to all shops and excellent restaurants and bars, 5 minutes to the beach and the old town.

Los Alcazares is a Spanish fishing village situated on the edge of the Mar Menor. 7km of very safe clean beaches, with promenade, weekly market, old fashioned square and harbour. Los Alcazares boasts 320 days of sunshine per year and is well placed for Alicante, Cartagena, Murcia and is only 15 minutes from the famous La Manga resort. There are 27 golf courses within 1/2 hour drive, but locally are Roda, La Serena and Mar Menor, all good tests for any level of golfer.

About the neighbourhood
The property is regularly used by its owners and has been owned since 2003, the area has changed over these years, but it has remained as a quaint Spanish town, with additional precincts added it has attracted many restaurants,bakeries,cafes and bars.
The beach is quite busy during the summer with locals,tourists and families enjoying the 100% safe beach and sea on the mar menor (inlet of water) that is as warm as a bath and only 3 ft deep at 1\2 a km out.locals fish the waters.
The 7km of promenade is a joy to walk\run\cycle with over 30 beach bars along the way, try the Spinoza beach bar at the north end, the food and ambience is fantastic (overlooking the mar menor).

Market Tuesdays & Saturdays 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes on bus
The property has 4 adult bicycles for guests to use, please ensure they are returned in working order - there is a local bike repair shop that will do any 'running' repairs for a small fee (on the precinct near Angela's (pizza restaurant)

Murcia /San Javier airport is a 10 minute taxi ride, no reason to hire a car, alternatively Alicante can be driven to in 3\4 to 1 hour dependant on traffic and starting in 2019 Corvera airport will be open, which is just 25 minutes away.
The property has easy 3 minute access to the main AP7 motorway to reach all major shopping centres,airports and cities
