We live adjacent to our two holiday cottages and are always on hand to answer any queries or help and advise in any way we can, but we also make every effort to respect the privacy of our guests. There is a guest information folder in each cottage with everything that guests should need to know during their stay and also a wealth of information about places to visit, things to do, places to eat etc.

Curlew cottage is very clean, tidy and very well equipped. Comfy bed with lovely soft sheets and towels. There was even a Christmas tree. We would highly recommend this cottage. We love shropshires countryside with its magnificent views and walks.

Lovely couple of cottages tucked away in Shropshire. Child friendly, pet friendly and very welcoming - who can say 'no' a slice of lemon drizzle cake after a long day's travel. Beautifully set out, the cottage wants for nothing, even a free basket of logs...More

Excellent location for exploring the Shropshire hills. Lovely home baked Lemon cake and decorated Christmas tree provided by Jo a really nice touch. The cottage is comfortable, clean, in a superb location and has a wonderful log burner for those cold evenings. Would definitely recommend...More

A landscape of green golden valleys rising to dramatic hills and moorlands. A hidden history of Marcher Lords - long since dead, concealed pagan rites and legends, castles and tiny hamlets all waiting to be found. No wonder this is officially an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Within South Shropshire are:- Shropshire's gastronomic capital Ludlow, the Alpine like setting of Church Stretton, Bishops Castle famed for it's microbrewery, Cleobury Mortimer, Craven Arms and Clun, immortalised by A.E.Housman. Each couldn't be more different or distinctive. Getting around
A car is definitely recommended if you want to get around the area from here. We are about a mile from the nearest bus route which serves Shrewsbury and Bishops Castle daily and Ludlow one day per week.
The nearest train stations are Welshpool, Shrewsbury and Church Stretton.

Airport: Birmingham: 112.0 km
Railway: Shrewsbury: 23.0 km
If arriving by air into Birmingham International Airport, take train from Birmingham International Railway Station to Shrewsbury (approx 1.25hrs). Then Taxi from Railway station to Bentlawnt (approx cost £15)
If arriving by train - see above.
Road directions from the North:
Take the A488 towards Bishops Castle.
At the roundabout in Minsterley take the first exit, still on A488 (signed Bishops Castle).
After approx 3.5 miles turn right signed Bentlawnt, Leigh and Hope School.
At the crossroads turn left.
Continue up the hill through Bentlawnt. Go straight on at the next crossroads.
A few hundred yards after this crossroadsis the gate for Hope Park Farmhouse.
