This will include cereals, fresh milk, yoghurt, fruit juice, bread for toasting, butter, jam and marmalade. Love country style? Take a peek inside this stunning country home in Wales. The two bed roomed cottage dates from 1800's and sits on a hillside at Bwlch valley in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Period features are part of the cottage’s character and the hallway has stunning slate flagstone floors. The light and bright kitchen has been transformed with a pale palette of french grey, while Shaker cabinets and belfast sink make for a classic country look. An informal eating area has been created in a corner of the dining area with a small table and french look bistro chairs, and enamel lamp, adds to the intimate feel. The table in the dining room is a useful study area. The charming dining room has a simple, homespun ambience. A spotty tablecloth provides a homely touch, while french style and distressed chairs create feel that’s perfect for a relaxed dining scheme. The gorgeous living room is the epitome of effortless rustic chic with its blue and grey colour scheme. Set against a backdrop of whitewashed walls, mid century modern furniture in neutral adds a pop of colour , while a grey rug on a slate floor adds a country twist , alongside the character log burning fire, adds to the intimitate feel The cool and calm main bedroom combines a minimalist feel with more than a hint of French chic. Faded rose accents are used to bring the scheme to life. The 2nd room/visitor/childrens bedroom is decorated in neutral colours that harmonize with the white walls and floorboards. Wrought-iron beds, comfortable beds that can be put together to make a double, create a period feel that’s in keeping with the age of the house. The splendid bathroom has a timeless appeal with original panelling, with on-trend display of original wall paper. A rolltop bath and ovalshaped sink adding to its period elegance. Shutters allow for privacy, and whilst in the bath the mountain views are spectacular. Walks, lakes, villages mountains, waterfalls , cycling, mountain biking, kayaking, gliding, country pubs, restaurants, festivals, caving, climbing, fishing, horse riding, stargazing, animal farms, fine food and drink, unique local shops . A superb cottage, recently renovated, spacious, unique and with contemporary influences. It is south facing and set within Bwlch village with commanding views of surrounding mountains and hills, including Pen-y-fan from the Romantic roll top bath. From the bedroom window is the picturesque view of the Alt. This quaint cottage is set nestled with other cottages in the village of Bwlch. Although close to the road, it has effective aesthetic glazing. Views from the windows encompasses beautiful fields, forests and mountain views that surround the property. There is a narrow driveway with a concealed entrance so we recommend on street parking 70 paces away in By the shop for your safety. There is a storage shed to house such as any mountain bikes, canoes etc that you may bring with you. The cottage is on a public transport route. Perfect place for couples on a romantic get away, or families looking for a cosy base to explore from.....birthdays, honeymoon, anniversaries, attending local weddings, solo adventures, families, business trips, and get togethers with friends :) Close to Llangorse, Talgarth, Brecon, Hay on Wye and Crickhowell.
