Overview
Holiday Rental House -
4 Bedrooms , 1 Bathroom , Sleeps 7
Blaenau Ffestiniog, Snowdonia National Park, North Wales, Wales
This is a charming former rectory, situated in a world of industrial archaeology with wild woods nearby and a rugged backdrop. Activities such as mountain biking, climbing, walking and canoeing are on the doorstep and beautiful empty sweeping beaches are 20 minutes away by car. It's in the town of Blaenau Ffestiniog which is a fascinating and somewhat wild place!

Although the cottage sleeps 7 in beds be warned there's only one bath/shower room so you'll have to be patient with washing! (although there is also a basic outside loo). It's a simple, only slightly improved property, with no TV or wireless, although you can get a reasonable 3/4G with some providers. It's not a child friendly garden (for the able and intrepid adults only - the steps are awkward and steep and slippery).
We are not able to provide linen or to...

Interaction with guests
After contacting Tanya, our keyholder, and arranging key handover she will give you the key and show you in. As this is a family holiday cottage we turn off the water and electricity when not in so, if they're turned off then turn the mains on at the electric meter in the hall as you go in, high on the left wall. The water is a somewhat makeshift white plastic tap to the left of the kitchen sink. Adjust the fridge temperature as necessary on the dial inside.

Cae Bach is a lovely big house in Blaenau Ffestiniog, a former Rectory with loads of rooms and space to relax. We spent most evenings lazing in the living room after hard days of walking, and although we didn't need to use it as it...More
