Newly refurbished detached South Downs flint barn with log burner

Lovely newly refurbished in June 2017 detached one bedroom Sussex flint barn. Old charm, meets modern convenience. The cottage has a stunning new bath/shower room with electric underfloor heating. The bedroom is large and spacious. The lounge has a beautiful stove and a sofa bed to accommodate another two people to sleep.
The kitchen even has a Rangemaster to complete the country cottage feel. We are close to South Downs National Park and the stunning Long Man of Wilmington, ideal for Glyndebourne (18 mins). An additional private annex room to another barn can be booked separately if needed (contact us).

Interaction with guests
The property is detached but 20 metres from our own house therefore we are there whenever needed. We will introduce ourselves and make sure you have everything you need. We are happy to interact as much as you like, otherwise we'll leave you to get on with your holiday.

We are in a quiet lane within 20 minutes walking distance of 3 pubs & 2 tearooms.
With views to the Long Man of Wilmington and the South Downs. Our area is criss-crossed with walking & cycle paths to Arlington Reservoir, Abbots Wood, South Downs Way, Alfriston and more!
Getting around
I think our location is perfect for cycling. There is also a good daily country bus service from the main road. The local stations (3-4 miles away) of Berwick and Polegate offer access to other interesting places including, Lewes, Brighton, Rye and Hastings.
