Lovely cottage, Laura made us feel very welcome and was an excellent host who left us a lot of excellent personal little gifts, would definitely stay again and would highly recommend, lots of stuff to do round about too!

My husband and I visited for our 2nd anniversary and had a great time. Laura made lots of personal touches which we really appreciated and was very warm and welcoming to us. The hot tub was amazing and we would definitely return for another visit.

Never having ventured to North East Scotland we weren't sure what to expect. The weather was glorious - more hours per year of sunshine than Cornwall!! Britain's most northerly heritage railway operates between Keith and Dufftown, the malt whiskey capital of the world, during the months of April to September (Friday, Saturday & Sunday).

The town's central location offers first class connections to the beautiful Moray Firth coastline with its stunning beaches and at certain times of the year, the chance to witness in person the Majestic and Heavenly Northern Lights.

The Scottish Dolphin Centre is located close by at Spey Bay; the Cairngorms National Park is just a short drive away as is the Scottish winter ski resorts of Aviemore and The Lecht (approx. 1 hour)

From the B9014 Keith to Dufftown road make a left turn at the wooden sign post 'Mains of Auchindachy' - head up the hill.

You will find the main house situated on the left hand side of the road with cattle grids at the roadside/drive way.

Take the back drive way (on the right) and drive past the wooden car port also on the right. A little bit further up the driveway you'll recognize the Scottish Country Cottage on the left hand side, opposite the wooden double garage.

You can park you car on the cobbled stone area outside the cottage.
