Cosy cottage annex with log fire and exposed beams that sleeps two people in a double room. Located on the edge of Shalford village just two miles south of Guildford and in the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Within walking distance there are good pubs, the village shop, coffee shop and restaurants. The bridleway out the front gives excellent access to walking and cycling in beautiful countryside.

The cottage has a large open-plan living area that was converted from an old dairy and has wonderful exposed beams. At one end are the sofas around a log fire, at the other, a dining table and the kitchen. During a period of very cold weather we were warm and comfortable in this cottage which looks out over Shalford common. It has a tastefully decorated long living room with a kitchen at the other end. Daley Cottage is perfectly located, with three pubs, a village stores, the local station and great countryside paths all within short walking distances of the front door. Shalford is a village in the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. At its heart is the common with the cricket ground. The village has plenty of amenities: three pubs, a cafe, the village shop, a pharmacy, a wine merchant and a Thai restaurant.
The countryside is right on our doorstep with footpaths and bridleways to take you down to the River Wey or up onto the North Downs.

It's best to come by car or bicycle so that you can explore.
