Overview
Barn -
2 Bedrooms , 2 Bathrooms , Sleeps 4
Halesworth, Suffolk, East Anglia, England
Kingfisher was so named after a kingfisher was spotted eying it's prey in the adjacent pond during construction in 2015. This dog friendly barn offers outstanding views over unspoilt countryside, with French doors opening onto private gardens. Underfloor heating makes for a great getaway for weekly or shorter breaks through the winter and summer months.

Main Bedroom has a luxury super king size bed (separate beds can be provided), with Egyptian cotton bedding and hypo-allergenic microfibre duvet with adjoining large en-suite shower room.

Kingfisher has a private garden with views over the pond and fields beyond with Rattan table and chairs are for outside dining.

A quiet rural location ideal for walkers and cyclists, only a mile stroll from a dog friendly CAMRA award winning Rumburgh buck and an easy drive from the quaint seaside t...

Great accommodation with plenty of space and countryside views. Lovely welcome pack, my grandchildren loved the presents and the generous contents helped to make our week long holiday stay get off to a fantastic start. We hope to return!

About the neighbourhood
South of Bungay on the Suffolk side of the river are a handful of small villages known locally as 'The Saints'. It is here that All Saints South Elmham lies with its wealth of open countryside. All Saints South Elmham is extremely popular with cyclists with a maze of narrow country lanes. South of the curiously named St Cross South Elmham stands South Elmham Hall, a 16th century farmhouse which is now used as an events venue. Just south of the hall completely surrounded by trees is the ruins of South Elmham Minster. In the heart of the Waveney Valley with its idyllic villages and unique market towns, All Saints South Elmham is an unspoilt haven of wildlife, big open skies and a mild dry climate. Situated equal distance from both the pretty market town of Halesworth, famous for its... more
