In the heart of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty this cottage offers real country living with modern up to date facilities. From the gate, walk straight onto a myriad of footpaths leading in various directions, all with beautiful vistas. The area abounds with wildlife, including deer, badgers, buzzards and red kites. There are also many varieties of owls in the area and they are a delight to listen to in the early evening.
Although the surroundings are the countryside at its best, there is two fully stocked and excellent village stores within a short drive, plus easy access to the main cities of Chichester and Portsmouth and all the attractions they offer. Spotless quiet accommodation on the edge of a pretty village with a good pub. A real home from home. Walks directly from the property. Very welcoming hosts, Ranjit and Cathy, for whom nothing is too much trouble. Will definitely visit again.

The favourite room, we are told by all our guests, is the conservatory which is a real suntrap, opening out onto the lawned garden and terrace. For your relaxation there is a sofa and two armchairs and a large coffee table, plus a wide screen TV.
The open plan kitchen that leads to the conservatory has all the modern conveniences you would expect, including plenty of granite work top, ceramic hob, built under oven and dishwasher. The keen cooks can knock up a quick snack to eat al fresco on the patio, or a full meal for serious dining if preferred. Alternatively, the village pub is within easy walking distance (three minutes) and serves excellent food in the bar or restaurant. We recommend that guests drive to the cottages, which have plenty of off road parking. By car we are a 5 minute drive from the A3(M) and M27 close to Chichester and Petersfield. Overseas guests usually hire a car from the airport they arrive at or drive from the ferry terminals. We will forward a map of how to reach us a couple of weeks before you arrive.
