Pourquoi aller a l'hôtel ?

Première fois que nous louons un appartement pour le week end plutôt que d'aller à l'hôtel , BONNE PIOCHE ! Le décor est superbe , l'équipement de qualité , l'emplacement idéal et Astrid prête à vous aider dans votre découverte de la région . Super week end !

Normandy Gem

This apartment is beautiful and is in a fantastic location! Not only are you in the heart of Port En Bessin, with great food and shopping, you are also very close to the other attractions in the region. We definitely recommend, and plan on staying there again!

Perfect Apartment

We didn't want to leave! This apartment is every bit as charming as it appears to be in the pictures. It's easy to find, close to everything, and offers wonderful views. There were three of us who stayed here for 2 nights. The only problem was that the stay wasn't longer! The kitchen had absolutely everything you could want for cooking a meal. The bathroom was very comfortable, especially with the Ralph Lauren towels! The beds were firm, like I like them. We didn't need it, but there were fans in both bedrooms. Astrid showed us how to work everything, and made sure we had all that we needed. Parking was close and we always felt safe. As far as distance to D-Day sites or Bayeux, it was perfect! It is a wonderful base to see many things in Normandy. I can not wait to come back here for a longer period of time and explore even more of the area. If I have the opportunity, I will definitely book this apartment again.

Excellent

I stayed here with my partner and my father and cousin for 6 nights over the 70th anniversary of the D-Day celebrations. There is one double room and one twin room which just suited our needs. The apartment was in an excellent location with 3 restaurants within metres of the front door, grocery shop around the corner and parking (although no allocated parking space) was no problem even at such a busy time - and its free! I would definitely recommend the apartment, it has absolutely everything you could possibly need for self catering. The apartment is beautifully decorated, I could not fault anything and Astrid was extremely helpful from the moment of booking up to meeting us at the Apartment at 6pm on a Sunday! Port en Bessin is also a lovely town with plenty of restaurants. If you are travelling to Normandy you should definitely give this place a try, you won't regret it.

La Perfection….

Nous avons passé 4 jours de rêve à l'Esprit du Port, avec 2 enfants et 1 bébé. La maison est très joliment décorée avec un sens du détail et un qualité rares, qu'on apprécie d'autant plus! Peu d'endroits combinent ainsi une vue aussi belle (situé juste dans un petit port très pittoresque), un confort aussi recherché (en déco comme en qualité de l'équipement), un calme incroyable malgré la proximité du port, une abondance de sites touristiques alentour et un accueil/service aussi avenant et chaleureux. Merci Astrid, on espère revenir très bientôt!

A beautiful apartment with water views

Thank you Astrid for letting us stay here! The apartment is every bit as cute as it seems from the pictures. We have stayed in many VRs, and some seem to take the approach that there is no need to spend money on the amenities, this is definitely not the case here. Astrid has evidently gone out of her way to furnish the place with very good quality, and she could have a career as a professional decorator. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the views were spectacular. It was spotless, and it was great to be able to do some laundry too. Astrid was very accommodating to our shifting arrival times and made checking out very convenient. We cannot say enough about this place and would definitely recommend staying here if you are anywhere near Port en Bessin.

Great little house in a cute port

A great little 2 bedroom apartment that is more like a house. Very nicely decorated, with a view of the port, especially from the dining room/ kitchen. The apartment has everything you could need and all mod cons including dishwasher, nespresso machine and very good wifi. A one minute walk to an excellent bakery, a brilliant spot to visit Bayeux and the D-day landing beaches. In good weather it would be a great base to cycle the small roads between the villages. Could not fault it and Astrid, the owner, was very easy and pleasant to deal with.

Bien etre

Un petit nid douillet idéalement situé au centre du joli village de pêcheurs. Tout correspond aux photos... Un charme fou avec le soucis du détail pour offrir aux hôtes du bien être.Le mouvement des bateaux depuis la fenêtre de la cuisine plante l'atmosphère authentique.L'accueil chaleureux et les conseils avisés d'Astrid rendent le séjour agréables. A recommencer bien vite!
