Casa Bianca is a cozy and chic studio located in Ostuni's 18th century zone steps from the main piazza. Here you really live like a local and among the locals. It's located on a cul-de-sac street with limited traffic and decorated with the neighbour's laundry and conversations in local dialect as background soundtrack. Its location is ideal since it's literally steps from Ostuni's main piazza, so you can easily go to the restaurants, cafes and bars around the piazza or the medieval centre and walk to your home after. No driving, no worries! Even the beach can be reached by public transport. The studio is recently renovated with taste, adding modern comforts while maintaining the original 18th century details like the thick stone walls that keep the place cool in the heat of summer (although there's also an air conditioner to help with that) and painted mostly in white as the they were centuries ago. There is a newly created shower area with rain shower head because we understand that you don't really want to shower above the toilet, and a kitchen corner with induction stove for preparing a quick breakfast or a whole meal! It's possible to add a single bed or a crib for a small supplement. More

About the neighbourhood
Ostuni's 18th century neighbourhood is known locally as the Chianca dell'Oro. Chianca is a type of stone widely used in Ostuni and Puglia. Its location is ideal since it's only 20 metres from Ostuni's main piazza, so you can easily go to the restaurants, cafes and bars around the piazza or the medieval centre and walk to your home after. No driving, no worries! It is also across the piazza to the entrance of Ostuni's medieval centre where most of the city's attractions such as the magnificent cathedral is located. The neighbourhood is populated by locals, so it's an opportunity to experience Ostuni like one; get delicious bread from the local panificio, fruits and vegetables from the fruttivendolo, melt-in your mouth local cheese and prosciutto from the salumeria, etc. Puglia is of course...
Getting around
In Ostuni car is not necessary. The city bus to the train station and marina stops at the piazza. Bikes can be rented for free for the day from the kiosk in the piazza. Buses and trains available for visits to other nearby destinations such as Cisternino, Bari, Lecce, Ceglie Messapica, Martina Franca or Alberobello and the Itria Valley for its trulli.
