Villa Viglakia is in the exclusive area of Santa Maria, which is in the North of Paros and arguably the most picturesque part of the island. The house is named after the small hill it is situated on (Viglakia = small vantage point) and within easy reach of a number of beautiful sandy beaches. On a clear day you can easily see the islands of Naxos, Mykonos, Ikaria and Ios, as well as a number of lesser known Aegean islands.

Villa Viglakia is set within 4000m2 of land, featuring a well kept garden that is beautifully lit at night with a BBQ. We are at the heart of a protectedarea with Natura 2000 status and surrounded by natural beauty and wildlife. There is no through traffic as the house is at the end of a private road, overlooking the sea. It comprises of 5 different size apartments, sleeping 2-6 people.
This apartment has a separate bedroom and an open plan living/kitchen area with two built in single beds, as well as their own private patio. It has also access to a shaded courtyard at the back of the house. The apartment has air conditioning and Wi-fi and a fully equipped kitchen. Cot available on request.
Breakfast is not included in the room rates but can be provided on request for a small additional charge.
There is a large private car park on the grounds of the hotel.
Villa Viglakia has a children's swimming pool. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times as there is no life guard.
Villa Viglakis, if booked as a whole, is also ideal to accommodate the guests of small wedding parties. There is a double apartment for the Couple with a private entrance upstairs (there is room for a child, if needed) and up to 19 wedding guests can share the four larger apartments which are in the same Villa downstairs.
No additional guests other than the guests which were booked at time of reservation.
The hotel grounds, gardens and all apartments were fully renovated in Spring 2014.

If you smoke, please smoke on your balcony or in the garden, but not in the apartment. Please be mindful of the other guests and be quiet. Parents are responsible for their children. Towels provided are for the apartment only and not to be taken to the beach, etc. If you use the aircondition or heating, please close all doors and windows. When you leave the apartment please switch the aircondition/heating and the ligths off. No toilet paper in toilets - we have a biological waste water system.

Interaction with guests:Â We live on site and will do check in and check out personally. We can help with any questions, give directions, assist with car hire, bus time tables, etc and give advice. We are a very friendly family happy to chat and help you to enjoy your holiday.
This is about five minutes drive from the Little Santa Maria beach (I think) which is gorgeous and practically deserted in the second week of September. The room was a great size and very clean. Philippe and Carina were very helpful and recommended a good hire car place as well. I would go back.

Wonderful Stay on Paros
We stayed at Villa Viglakia with our 2 daughters. The accomodations were clean and so thoughtfully set up and decorated. We were able to cook breakfast in the mornings on the hot plate and sit outside to enjoy our coffee. The surrounding gardens are beautiful. There is a second patio out back which you can also use if you want more privacy but I have to say it was so fun to meet the other people who were staying at the Villa. It was very quiet and peaceful. It is driving distance to Naoussa and Parikia. There is a beach as well as a restaurant that is nearby and a 10-15 minute walk. Philippe and Carina are wonderful hosts and speak several languages fluently. They live on the property and were always available to us for suggestions on beaches and restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here with a family or a group!

Ankommen, entspannen, genießen
wunderschöner Ort, um den Alltag hinter sich zu lassen - die komplette Anlage ist zauberhaft, mit wenigen Dingen sehr ansprechend gestaltet bis ins Detail. Die Besitzer achten auf Sauberkeit und versuchen umweltschonend zu arbeiten (biologische Wasseraufbereitung für die Gartenbewässerung) Im Appartement ist alles vorhanden, was es braucht. Für 4 Personen geräumig - 2 herrliche Terrassen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Die Besitzer beherrschen alle gängigen Sprachen, so kann man sich perfekt verständigen und fühlt sich auch verstanden ;-))))
Auf Grund der Abgeschiedenheit ist ein fahrbarer Untersatz unbedingt zu empfehlen, mit denen Supermärkte und alle Strände rasch erreicht werden können. Danke für diesen herrlichen Ort!!!

We are In immediate proximity to a number of stunning sandy beaches with crystal clear waters and are only a few minutes’ drive from the cosmopolitan fishing village of Naoussa. There you find a vast choice of restaurants, tavernas, shopping facilities, for all tastes aswell as bars and night life. There are also many activities and places of interest for families with children.

How to get there
How to get to Paros. From Athens international airport (Eleftherios Venizelos): National direct flights to Paros airport with Olympic Airways. Flights take approx. 30mins. From the port of Piraeus: Very frequent ferry service in the Summer months. Fast ferries take approx. 3hrs, standard ferries take approx. 4hrs. to Paroikia port.There is an excellent public transport connection between Athens International airport and Piraeus port by metro underground which goes every 30mins during the day. From the port of Rafina (the closest port to Athens International airport and only a short taxi distance away). Ferry services in the Summer months only. From Mykonos (which has an international airport): Frequent ferry service in the Summer taking approx. 1hour.
