There were 6 adults, across 3 generations, in our party plus one dog. This is a stunning house and the floors, apart from the stairs, are all smooth/wooden surfaces which made it very easy for my father's 'wheelie' (3-wheeled walker). We didn't need to use...More

We are so glad that you had a good stay. Yes pubs in Scotland are not always child friendly. The Powfoot Hotel (a short drive away) would be good for a family lunch. Sarah

The property was well presented and maintained. The facilities for wheelchair users are excellent and of a very high standard. The only thing that could be done to improve the stay would have been an extra towel!

Getting around
A car is the best form of transport for getting around the local area to visit tourist attractions etc however there is a local railway station in Annan on the branch line runs between Carlisle (with connections to east coast main line services) and Glasgow. Buses are also available to other destination in and around the area from the Annan bus station. Local Taxis are also available. Annan is just off the A75 which connects the M6/A74(M) in the east to Stranraer in the west.
