About the neighbourhood
Home of Compo, Sid’s café and Nora Batty’s steps, Holmfirth is “Last of the Summer Wine” country and so much more!

The town is a maze of alleyways and narrow, cobbled streets which lead to what were originally weavers’ cottages. The many former mills in the area bear testimony to the area’s history which is steeped in the textile industry.
