The Linhay, St Tudy

Guest house -
1 Bedroom , 1 Bathroom , Sleeps 2
Saint Tudy, Bodmin, Cornwall, England
The Linhay is set in an oak tree clad valley half a mile from the centre of the award winning village of St Tudy near the North Cornwall coast and the wild beauty of Bodmin Moor. It is ideally placed for those interested in walking, cycling, natural history, gardens and those who seek peace and tranquility!
The Linhay was a derelict open fronted cattle shed on the edge of an acre plot surrounding the Oaks Barn - a former Duchy field barn, originally part of the farm of Tinten manor which is reputed to be the birthplace of Captain William Bligh of the Bounty. The Barn is now the owners home. In the Linhay, much has been made of the original vertical slate slabs and granite pillars. The door, windows and floor to the living room are made of English oak and the self-catering accommodation is spacious and well equipped for two.
