Lofty-Limin’ - A place to chill, lime and relax. …Laze around beside the pool. Sip champagne… take in the mountain scenery and regenerate your soul. 'Liming' is a Caribbean term. The definition of 'liming' I like the best is: 'the art of doing nothing' Lofty-Limin is nestled on the mountain side above the Fish Hoek valley looking out onto the Muizenberg mountains a mere 2km from the Blue Flag Fish Hoek beach. Lofty-Limin’ is a private, single unit/apartment attached to a private home. I recently retired from full time teaching and finally had time to add Lofty Limin onto my existing home. I'm excited about Lofty Limin, which I built and furnished with you, the holiday maker and adventurer in mind! It's brand new and I think its an amazing lofty space. The unit sleeps four in two 'rooms': The 'Oak room is a private room with a double bed. The Oak room has a glass sliding door which leads out directly onto the balcony above the pool. The “Rustic room' is on the Messene level above the living area. Its light and airy with a wonderful view! This room has a King-sized bed which can be made up as two single beds upon request. The bathroom is situated directly opposite the Oak room. Lofty-Limin has a full kitchen, a comfortable living area with a couch, recliners, a bar and a Smart 50” flat screen TV. Braai facilities and some outdoor dining facilities are available on the pool terrace. The pool has a bubble cover to stop evaporation. (It also raises the water temperature which make swimming pleasant) I'd love to welcome you to my world where you can be as active or as inactive as you chose to be. Lofty Limin is a place to chill, relax and learn to lime.More

Stylish and comfortable retreat nestled in a beautiful corner of the Fish Hoek mountains

An epic adventure and chilled break-away from the hustle of city-life...exponentially cozy and accommodating. We loved coming home after a solid day of adventuring to actively participate in "the art of doing nothing". The huge TV and free wifi was a plus in this regard....More

Spacious, well appointed, great views

This charming apartment set high above the city offers spectacular mountain vistas. It is well appointed with a hostess who will happily go the extra mile to guarantee your comfort. The perfect quiet getaway.

An absolute gem in the heart of Fish Hoek

A beautiful & spacious living area that really felt like a home away from home. Great value for money with gracious hosts. Lovely, tranquil setting that made my trip so much better. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Wonderful holiday home away from home

What a wonderful holiday! Lofty-Limin provided us with a wonderful private home away from home from which to explore; the Penguins, Cape Point, Simonstown, Hout Bay and Kalk bay. With the Cape Point vineyard just 7 Kim's away and the blue flag Fish Hoek beach...More

Super casual and private accommodation

Nestled up against the mountain the views from the apartment are spectacular. On a clear day the distant Hangklip beckons over a tranquil bay. If you are lucky enough to be here on a full moon night savor the spectacle with a glass of wine...More
