Santa Anna is a rustic, stone-built cottage, ideal for self-catering holidays. It has two large rooms - kitchen/lounge, bedroom and bathroom. The lounge has a comfortable leather couch and sofa bed arranged around a wood burning stove. There is a large dining table + 6 chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped including fridge, oven, and hob; there is also TV, DVD player, barbecue, hair-dyer, walking poles, maps of the surrounding area and small library. The bedroom has a large built-in wardrobe plus chest of drawers. The bathroom has a bath with shower.

Towels and bed linen are provided.

Santa Anna has a large tiled terrace with stunning views over the wooded valley. The terrace has a table and chairs, large sun umbrella and loungers. In the summer, a portable pool helps keep you cool.

The Sierra de Aracena is a pocket of cool lush paradise, inland from the Costa de la Luz. almost entirely forested with cork, oak and sweet chestnut. It has always been a quiet escape from the scalding summer heat of Sevilla and Madrid for those in the know. This is real Spain, full of Spanish traditions and culture. The nearby town of Aracena, is 1.5 km away and the region is famed for its Blackfoot ham, considered the best in Spain. There is the famous, Las Grutas de las Maravillas caves (used in the Indiana Jones movie) to visit with spectacular caverns of stalactites and stalagmites, in the town.
