We had an excellent experience in all respects.
The cabin owner, Sara, was very quick to reply to emails. The cabin was in excellent repair, clean, and the keys ready on our arrival. The cabin has beautiful views down the valley over to Sarnano and the imposing Sibilini national park mountain range beyond. Inside the cabin is charming -- simple, reasonably spacious and well done -- similar to a ski chalet. Outside life is tranquil.
The location is perfect for visiting nearby hill villages (of which there are many pretty ones), hiking in the mountains of Mount Sibilini National Park, or making day-trips to the coast.
There are plenty of good restaurants within a ten to twenty minute drive (you'll need a car regardless for this place).
Only thing to be aware of is no internet connection -- if you need that you can find it in the Irish pub called 'Sticky Fingers' in Sarnano (open from around 7pm in the evenings).
