The host, Paula, will meet guests on arrival at Haughian’s Cottage to pass over the keys and show guests the workings of the Cottage. Paula will also advise on the wide range of tourist attractions in the locality and further afield. Paula lives close by and is always available to assist with any queries during your stay. Paula will come to the Cottage at the end of the guests’ booking to collect the keys and to wish guests a fond farewell.

Paula is a wonderful hostess, so warm and welcoming. You genuinely know nothing is too much bother. The cottage is well equipped, cosy, compact but comfortable. Amazing views across sculptural stone walls to the sea from one window and the mountains from the other.

Address : 62 Brackneagh West Rd, Ballymatin, Co Down. BT34 4PP Sat navigation coordinates: N: 54; 6'; 32'. W: 5; 58'; 30'. Travelling from Belfast direction, follow signposts for A24 to Newcastle. Travel approx 7 miles along this road and prior to arriving in Annalong, take right at a petrol station on to the ‘Quarter Rd’, travel 5 miles and take 6th road on r.h.s. to Brackneagh West Rd. Cottage is 1 mile down the Brackneagh West Rd (right hand side). From Dublin travel to Newry. Then travel through Warrenpoint, Rostrevor and Kilkeel. In Kilkeel take left onto Carrigenagh Rd. Travel along this road 2 miles and take right onto a Church Rd, take left onto Brackneagh West Rd after passing small primary school.
