Beautiful River Front cabin on 7.5 private acres.Listen to Geese,ducks and many other birds while sitting in a rocking chair on your deck.The cabins are right on top of the South fork of the Shenandoah river,overlooking a 34 acre island. The cabin has a 6-person hot tub on the patio,where you can star gaze and listen to the sounds of the water rolling by.There is an out door fire ring,where you can have advantages of camping, with none of the work. There are horse shoes and volley ball court. The cabin is close to all the attractions in the Shenandoah valley,we are only 3 miles from the quaint town of Luray, Luray Caverns and only 9 miles from Shenandoah National Park head quarters. Canoe,kayak,swim, tube,fishing are all on site.We do offer free canoe use.Shenandoah River outfitters are... Perfect Location Mountain Get Away!

My Husband and I stayed at the cabin for two nights, and we loved it. We did get a little chilly once the sun set and in the morning, so we winded up buying a $20 space heater at the Walmart right down the road....More

it's our second time visiting the place in 3 years and it still is the same! Lisa and her family is great and keep the grounds well maintained! It's peaceful and just what u need to escape an everyday day! We will be back

perfect birthday weekend getaway

comes with everything you need (except towels & bed sheets of course!) hot tub was awesome, but not cooler than the canoe ride!!

Great Place to unwind from the daily grind!!!!!!!

We stayed in the Gander cottage and it was great! It's so quiet and peaceful. It has everything you need from pots and pans, dishes and enough 1st hand amenities to last out entire 4 day trip. The canoe was great and the boat ramp...More

Romantic Cabin

Love the cabin! It was perfect. Was great to listen to water at night. Didn't expect the running water by the cabin. Were close to a lot of fun to do. Plan on going back next summer.

Wonderful birthday weekend getaway

We had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful cabin. Our kids loved the loft, hot tub, and playing by the river. We enjoyed sitting on the rocking chairs on the deck listening to the river and stargazing, and relaxing by the fire. We highly recommend!

Great little place

Great place and very clean. It says sleeps 6 people. I think that would be too many people. 3-4 people would work. It was a great location right by the river and 5 minutes from grocery store, pizza and walmart. Owners are very friendly and...More
