Bryn Awel is a cosy, traditional and characterful stone cottage situated in the centre of the historic and tranquil village of Penmachno, within the Snowdonia National Park, 4 miles from Betws y Coed.
It features original tiled floors, sash windows and pine doors, antique furniture and a wood burning stove, a small but well equipped kitchen and a ground floor bathroom with shower over bath. Wooden stairs lead to the double and twin bedrooms which have stripped pine floors with rugs, original fireplaces and pine furniture.
An initial basket of logs is provided for the wood burner and you will be able to purchase more in Betws y Coed if required.
Bed linen and towels are included.

We usually leave the keys in a key-safe and allow guests to enjoy their stay without contacting them. However, we live nearby, in Penmachno, and we are happy to answer any queries and to offer advice and information on local attractions and things to do. The cottage has a good selection of information; books, leaflets, maps and details of local pubs and restaurants etc. We are happy to answer any questions at enquiry stage and once a booking has been made so please do not hesitate to contact us.
