There are three private bedrooms in this antique furnished unique apartment with a large patio-balcony filled with tropical plants, vines, and flowers. The spacious window filled dwelling has all hard wood floors and is adorned with three original stained glass features and five ceiling fans along with a chef's kitchen.

If you are not inclined to cook, the neighborhood is filled with incredible award winning restaurants of every description. In addition the French Quarter, C.B.D., Marigny, Bywater, and Art's District are all a quick 10 minute entertaining Streetcar ride from your front door. There is plenty of space for bicycles if you want to take advantage of the increasing number of on and off street bike paths.

This was our 3rd time at this rental and we will be back the next time we are in NOLA! The location, hosts, and neighborhood are perfect. It is always clean and well stocked. Highly recommended!

About the neighbourhood
The Mid City neighborhood is unique in New Orleans in many ways. First it is centrally located and a hub to which you have easy access to all parts of the city including having convenient interstate access for those arriving by car or to the airport. Our B & B is 3 minutes from the entrance/exit off I-10.
Mid City was hit very hard during Katrina and was heavily flooded for weeks but, not only has it's prior character been restored, there has been a renaissance of restaurants, retail shops, groceries, bars, pubs, nightclubs, parks, amenities, and attractions that have added renewed vigor and charm to the community.
