Located in a quite and safe neighborhood which is situated on a dead end street; with front porch, backyard, and patio area to relax and enjoy your morning coffee or evenings after sightseeing. There are receptacles outside on the porch and patio area to dispose cigarettes in a proper manner, for those who smoke. Has free off street parking located at the rear entrance with additional parking along the side street.

I will be there to greet, welcome and get you situated in my home. Once there, I will show you the easiest way to get around the area and the quickest way to get you on and off I-10 for easy access throughtout the city and back to my home. Should you get lost, need help or if a problems occurs I can and will be available during your stay. If you prefer not to drive and be bother with the hassle of parking in the city, I have a very good friend I grew up with who is a taxi driver whom you can make arrangements with. His name and number is located in my home for yours use; you just need call in advance to make the arrangements.

Great location minutes away from all the hot spots. Parks, museum, zoo, bourbon street, airport, shopping. Cottage is very roomy.More

It. Was quiet. Neighbors were great. Place was clean and orderly. Everything worked properly. Landlady was a blast.

I spent 6 weeks staying at the Love Shack to get away from the cold Wisconsin winter, and I would of stayed 6 more weeks if my schedule would of allowed me! The house was perfect, very clean and had all the amenities to live...More

About the neighbourhood
My home is situated near many local restaurants, night clubs, grocery stores including whole foods, between two major shopping malls (Clearview and Lakeside), seconds from several outpatient surgical centers, urgent care facilities, a major hospital, childcare facilities, schools and a bus stop!!!!
Fabulous location, quite, safe neighborhood and conveniently situated on a dead end street. It's away from the commotion, but close enough to be anywhere in minutes...... Lake Pontchartrain, festivals, parks and much more.
Getting around
There is public bus transportation located on Veterans which is 3 blocks from the house. My life long friend is a taxi driver, his number is located in my home should you want to use his services. However, you will have to call in advance to discuss arrangements with him ahead of time. Of course, Uber is an option as well.

Save yourself the hassle of driving into the city and parking,.

Take exit 222 north Clearview Pkwy off I-10

If approaching from the East, take exit 222 north off I-10, then take the frontage road. Look for Kingman, then Houma streets. Then pass over a canal; the next street is Lake Villa Dr. Turn left, go up on block and take a right ontoTreton St. I'm the corner house (white with blue trim). Pull into the driveway. There is additional parking along the street. Please do not park on the lawn.

If approaching from the West, take exit 222 north off I-10, turn right onto Veterans Hwy. You will be passing Clearview shopping mall on the right. I'm 4 streets from the mall. You will pass Kingman and Houma streets. After pass over a canal, the next street is Lake Villa Dr. Turn right, go up 3/4 blocks to Trenton St. Turn left onto Tren...
