Page, Arizona
Yá'át'ééh. (Hello)

We are a native owned off grid retreat offering guests a unique stay utilizing quality canvas Bell Tents on the Navajo Nation in the outstanding natural beauty of northern Arizona. It is our intention to provide guests a truly respectful interaction with Navajo culture. We serve a traditional Navajo breakfast. All other meals must be sourced in Page. It is off grid here. Very minimalist. It will offer guests an understanding and appreciation as to how the Navajo lived not so long ago. Each tent or hogan is outfitted with the basic necessities to make for a pleasant stay - cots, padding, linens, blankets, candle lanterns, solar lights, fresh filtered drinking water, books on the Navajo, and games. There are several outhouses on the property. Also, bathing water is provided and solar heated. Guests may hike the...

Interaction with guests
We greet guests and give them a bio of the land, people, and accommodations as we check them in. We then tend to give guests privacy.

However, we are on property and will certainly welcome questions guests have about the Navajo people and culture, sheep, ranch, and area attractions. Usually you'll find us at the sheep pens and horse corrals.

Three of us stayed one night in the BELL TENT while we traveled through Page. It was outfitted with very comfortable cots and linens. Baya and Paul also provided little niceties like cards, flashlights, snacks, and drinks. Their sweet dogs visited us at camp which was a lot of fun. They have a communal fire pit which we joined to warm ourselves and talk with other travelers, so if you want complete privacy you would need to stick right by your tent or cabin. In the morning, Baya brought us a breakfast of traditional foods which we all enjoyed. We also used their beautiful wood outdoor shower. The listing states it's a solar powered water source, but you actually heat a pot of water over a propane cook-top. My sister chose to go "cold" and said it was great. ( don't forget your towel; only washcloths are provided in the tent) AND, NOW FOR THE LAND. It is just beautiful. We saw an amazing Harvest moonrise, and a stunning sunrise that slowly lit up the Vermillion Cliffs. If you...
