Relax in this beautiful studio in a classic 1899 brownstone on a quiet, tree-lined street. The apartment includes a real, full sized kitchen and skylit bathroom. The studio is large -- it contains a sleeping area and separate sitting area complete with a Smart TV that you can use to keep abreast of your favorite programs on your Netflix, Hulu, Vudu, Prime, etc accounts.

The space is light and bright and cheerful. Perfect for one or two guests sharing the big, comfy Queen-sized bed; and if you're toting a little one with you, we have a playpen and bedding for your convenience.

You have your own entrance and your own key. Steps from amenities, restaurants and night life, but on a quiet tree-lined street to allow retreat from the noise.

A couple of days before you come we reach out to you to gather up your travel information so we can plan to receive you. When you arrive we will meet you at the house to welcome you and hand over the keys, introduce you to the neighborhood and answer any questions you have. Then we get out of your way and let you enjoy your stay, checking in on you periodically

The accommodations were adequate but they were filming a movie and took over the street for much of our stay. Loud noise from about 4 am as their trucks moved in and kept running. Our hostess Marisa was very nice though.

We arrived extra early and were allowed to check in. We booked the studio & were given the 2 bedroom unit. We were given very helpful tips on the area, shopping, transportation etc. Marrisa arranged to come by mid- week for a light touch up...More

This is a lovely, well-equipped studio. The proprietors are lovely and Crown Heights is a great neighbourhood (I'm assuming you have no race prejudice, you won't find it from anyone). Manhattan a short trip, and shorter once you realise how to use the express line...More

About the neighbourhood
Triple threat: Quiet street, half a block from dynamic Franklin Avenue, and centrally located with five train lines and three bus lines to take you anywhere you want to go.
The award-winning Brooklyn Museum and Brooklyn Botanic Gardens are 6 blocks away. Prospect Park and Saturday farmers' market are a long block away from the museum.

Getting around
Amazing location. Subways: 2, 3, 4, 5 are 4 blocks away and the S train to the A and C trains is less than a block away. There is a bus right on the corner. 4 minutes (one stop) on the 4 or 5 train to the Nets Barclays Center, and less than a 12-minute train ride to downtown Manhattan; 25 minutes to Grand Central; 35 minutes to the theater district and Times Square.
You don't need a car; if you decide to drive in, it is recommened that just set and forget the car and use public transportation.

This space is very centrally located. JFK and LaGuardia are approximately 30 and 25 minutes by car, respectively. There is also public transportation available from both airports.
