About the neighbourhood
About the owner: We first visited Asheville in 2007 to attend a film festival and immediately knew the city was the place for us. We relocated to Asheville in 2013 from our hometown in upstate NY (Elmira) after our two children left for college. Although we are not natives, the friendly and welcoming community has made us feel as though we've lived here for many years. 'We may not have been born in the mountains of western NC, but we got here as soon as we could, y'all!'
