Started officially as a busines in 1994 but with previous experience of property rental in the precedent 10 years, Agriturismo Fontelunga is now a reference poit for those searching for a true Tuscan experience. W own same of the nicest accommodation in the traditional country stile in the Cortona Area Il Bozzino holiday rental is the lower apartment of an ancient 2 stories farmhouse, built probably second half of 1500. The interios have been renovated on 2000 and we spent our effort to retain as much as possible of the original stile and materials, preserving a very welcoming and warm traditional look. All the furniture are antique but we introduced modern facility for a more confortable stay. The 3 bedrooms are spacious and the 1 of the 2 bathrooms is accessible from the living room. The second bathroom is ensuite. In the kitchen we like to provide a fully functional equipment: other than a rich assortment of plates, glasses, cuttery, pots and pans and tools we also provide a , convection oven, 5 ring gas stove, toaster, american stile coffe brewer. In the lovely ancient fireplace it is also possible to gril food. The acces to the house is completely independent and the living room door faces directly the private garden . It has a large private garden with parking space, sun beds, table, chairs, high quality barbeque. Not visible in the pictures due to a recent addition, a large pergola now shades the all front of the house providing a lovely shader space for your breakfast or dinners. The swimming pool is in a separated area and it is shared with the twin apartment of the same house and another one we have in another house not far. Due to the large private space we provide to each accommodation the swimming pool area is often little used and most of the time will be like it is a private one since you will not find always other people there. The house is at the end of a small country village, a peaceful and relaxing places with plenty of privacy but also very easy to reach and not far from shops, restaurants, groceryes and down town. The word famous medieval city of Cortona is at 5 minutes drive. Located in Tuscany but close also to Umbria, it's within a short drive from main locations like Florence, Siena, Montepulciano, S. Gimignano, Perugia, Assisi, Spello, Trasimeno Lake, Orvieto, Gubbio, Lucignano, Arezzo, Montalcino, San Sepolcro, Anghiari In hour main villa close by the house we also provide traditional Tuscan cooking classes and dinners, also possible guided tours of the cities, winery and the local market Cooking classes: During all summer my mother Mamma Donatella will be happy to welcome you in our restaurant and teach you ho to prepare traditional Tuscan dishes and then we will taste them together with your family Please contact us for more details on classes or full courses. Guided tours: It is possible to organise guided tours of art city and attractions of the area, winery and musical events Bicycle, scooters and car rental: We can arrange rentals for any of the items mentioned, just contact us in advance Tourist License / Licencia de turismo N °: IT01474580519More
