A bright, spacious and airy home with 3 large private bedrooms, each with their own air conditioner unit. As well, each bedroom has its own modern 3 piece bathroom. Casa Cascada offers a lovely large courtyard with a pool, gardens, and a cascading waterfall for your relaxation and enjoyment. It is equally beautiful at night, transformed into a magical lit haven where you can lounge underneath the stars and be soothed by the trickling sound of the waterfall. The living area is also fully enclosed and separated from the courtyard by a wall of panoramic doors which allows you to enjoy the outdoors while lounging in the living room, or enjoying a meal in the dining area.

We were a family of 6, casa Cascada was a very comfortable place, close to all the attractions in Granada. It was wonderful travel a pool to cool off at siesta time. The owners were very helpful and the place was immaculate.

The house is quite charming and everything we expected. The location couldn't be better, close enough to walk everywhere but not so close it's noisy or Part of the hustle and bustle. We highly recommend and will definitely be back one day!!

Antonio and his niece (Yerica) are fantastic to works with. From initial booking to check-out, the entire process is smooth and easy. The location is great being that it's only a short block or so to the Calzada strip for food/drink.... and at same time it's safe and quiet. This was our third time here.... we look forward to returning...

About the neighbourhood
Casa Cascada best asset is it's prime location. The house is situated in the heart of the historic colonial city, one block from the well known Calzada street (main walking street with restaurants, bars, shops), and yet, very peaceful and private. As well, the central park and cathedral are three short blocks west of the house, and Lake Nicaragua is a ten minute walk east of the house. Most homes in Granada do not have parking garages considering that it is more than a 500 year old city, however, there are two public indoor parking facilities available a block away from the house very secure.
Getting around
Once in Granada, transportation is not necessary. Most things are available in walking distance, however, local taxis are very economical. There are several tour operators a block away from the house that could help plan excursions to Mombacho Volcano Reserve, the volcanic island of Ometepe, the 365 volcanic islets surrounding Granada, the active Masaya Volcano(a sight to see by night), the picturesque town of Catarina situated on top of the lagoon Apoyo, and the ocean town of San Juan del Sur, just to name a few of the many attractions Nicaragua has to offer.
