The house is especially well suited as a vacation spot for one or two families with children, an extended family gathering, or several couples wanting time away from it all. We have a minimum age of 25 to rent the house.

During the winter, the house can be rented for the entire ski season, Dec. 1 through April 30, for $10,000 plus utilities. Shorter-term rentals may also be possible.

About the neighbourhood
The house is 2 1/2 miles west up a well maintained dirt road from the center of the village of Pittsfield, VT. The road is lined with many full time residents but, because the house is in the middle of its own 70 acre parcel and next to the Green Mountain National Forest, you will have a sense of privacy that is very hard to find this close to civilization. But neighbors, though out of sight, are just a short walk down the road.
Hiking, snowshoeing, and VAST snowmobiling trails (http://vtvast.org/VAST.html) are just out the door and the village has dining, light shopping, post office and gasoline as well as a beautiful town green and gazebo.
