Attractive detached one bedroom Grade 2 Listed Coach House, in the heart of Westbourne village. Less than 5 minutes walk to local shops and pubs.

Close to attractive sailing centre of Emsworth, which boasts a variety of excellent restaurants.

Chichester, Portsmouth, Hayling Island, the South Downs and Goodwood are all within easy reach, which makes this location ideal for sailors, hikers, golfers, cyclists, car racing and horse racing enthusiasts.

The first floor accommodation comprises double bedroom (king sized bed) with en suite shower room. Large living room with dining area, study desk with secure ethernet and wifi access. Stunning arched picture window, 40' TV, DVD and Ipod Stereo system. Fully fitted silent air conditioning unit - installed in July 2018.

Beautiful well equipped cottage.Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Just a few minutes walk into village and lots of places of interest to visit. Would definitely recommend staying at Coachmans cottage. Sandra most welcoming.

CHICHESTER: Approximately 7 miles from The Coachman Cottage lies the historical city of Chichester, one of the well preserved Georgian cities in the UK. The city broad streets, many of which are now pedestrianised, are packed with historical listed buildings. The most prominent of these being Chichester Cathedral, home to a family of peregrine falcons who return every spring to nest in the turrets of the cathedral. Getting around
There is a bus from the village into Chichester, Emsworth and Havant. This is a very infrequent service, so I would not recommend relying on this solely.

The nearest train stations are Southbourne and Emsworth, both about a miles walk.

The area is outstanding for cycling, with great rides from the door.

Ferry: Portsmouth: 18.0 km
Gatwick and Heathrow airports are approx 90km. It takes 1hr 15min to either airport, traffic permitting!!

Fast train from London Waterloo to Havant takes 1 hour 20 mins.
Train from London Victoria to Emsworth takes about 1hr 50 mins.

Should you be travelling from afar, (we have many guests from Europe, New Zealand, Australia and the United States) a taxi can be arranged to collect you from either Gatwick or Heathrow, enabling you to recover from your jet lag before driving.
