Interaction with guests
Tawelfa is our much loved holiday home which we enjoy sharing with our guests. Currently we live in Derbyshire but we regularly stay at the cottage and we are always looking for ways to upgrade and improve the cottage. Feedback from our guests is really important to us. Although we aren't able to meet and greet our guests in person, we are always available to answer any queries by email, text, mobile or landline. We do have fantastic local managers, based on Anglesey, who can help with any problems in person.

Just back from a week in Moelfre. Stayed in the village at Tawelfa and had a great time. Tawelfa is a perfect base, modern yet homely and would not hesitate to stay there again. Visited the Kinmel Arms which served quality food and real ale....More

About the neighbourhood
Moelfre is an idyllic seaside fishing village with a picturesque beach and old fishermens cottages overlooking the bay. It has centuries of maritime history which you can read all about at the Seawatch Centre, including the story of the Royal Charter shipwreck. With a stunning coastline and countryside views, Moelfre is an ideal place to visit at any time of the year. Enjoy walking along the Anglesey coastal path with its stunning sea views - you might even be lucky enough to spot dolphins, porpoise or seals. Nearby Lligwy and Dulas have beautiful sandy beaches ideal for relaxing.
Getting around
From Bangor Railway station (combined bus/ train) Take the No 62 (Amlwch) which runs every 30 mins. The journey to Moelfre takes just 35 mins and the bus stop is 50 metres from the cottage.

Anglesey is a fairly small island and virtually everywhere on the island is within a forty minute drive of the cottage. If you'd like to explore North Wales further, Snowdonia is a similar distance away.
