Bron y Graig is located in the Snowdonia National Park ,close to Harlech and Porthmadog. It is a detached house, with four bedrooms (two doubles, one twin and bunkbed). There are separate lounges upstairs and down, large kitchen, two bathrooms with modern facilities, conservatory, utility room and wifi access.

Outside the house is surrounded by woodland, has its own secluded garden, parking and separate driveway. There are views across to Portmerion, Harlech and the coastline. The Dwyryd estuary can be walked to from the house, with views to Porthmadog and the Tremadog Bay. The Rhinogs mountain range are close by. Harlech beach is 15 minute drive.

The house is ideally suited to group bookings e.g. walkers, cyclists who wish to explore the area. In addition the Royal St David's links Golf Course is near by.

The house is lovely, though as others have said, it does feel a bit like you're staying in someone else's actual home rather than a holiday cottage, which is a bit unnerving (family photos over the bed, for example). The wifi is a bit tempermental...More

About the neighbourhood
Located in the Snowndonia Park, there is access to nearby beaches at Harlech, Portmerion Italianate Village, Harlech Castle and the Ffestiniog Steam Railway in nearby Porthmadog. The vast sandy beaches around the estuary give plenty of choice for days on the beach. There are mountain walks and scrambles suitable for all abilities from the rambler to mountaineer. Rock Climbing at Tremadog is popular and there is an indoor climbing wall at Harlech's sport centre.

The nationally renowned Coed y Brenin Mountain Bike trail is within driving distance. For the Golfer, there are several Golf courses to choose from, including the Royal St David at Harlech and Porthmadog Golf Club at Morfa Bychan.

How to get there
Railway: Tygwyn: 1.0 km
To reach Harlech area, there are several route choices for coming by car. From the South, take the M54 to Shrewsbury. From there either choose the A5 to North Wales, passing through Llangollen and then follow the A5 onwards until reaching Betws y Coed. Take A470 towards Dolgellau. At Gellilydan, bear right onto the A487 to Porthmadog. Take the A496 from Maentwrog until passing through Talsarnau. The cottage is close by.

Visitors from the north should use the A55 to Bangor and then the A487 to Caenarfon and Porthmadog. From Porthmadog, take the A470 towards Dolgellau and follow the same route above from Maentwrog.
