Kildrochet Cottage is the Victorian wing of an early Georgian country house, set in 5.5 acres of gardens, paddock, woods and lawn, which guests are welcome to use. There is open space for children to play and garden furniture for relaxing and dining outdoors. It is situated 3 miles from the shops and amenities of Stranraer, with it's ferry service to Ireland, and at the top of The Mull of Galloway, Scotland's southernmost point. At least one of us are normally at hand in the main house next door. In this case we leave it up to guests if they want to contact us with further questions about the cottage or the local area. There is also local are information in the lounge. On the occasions when neither of us are at home we make sure the keys are available and mobile contact numbersfor us are on hand in case of emergency or if guests have any questions.

We have stayed here before and enjoy the location and the quietness, our return trip some 2 yrs later and it was like we were only there a few moths back. Will defo book again.

From booking to leaving Kildrochet I couldnt pick fault with anything, Arrived on Wednesday afternoon greeted by Philip and shown around this delightful property and grounds,milk in the fridge for a cuppa and fresh flowers in the rooms, Myself and my Wife were looking somewhere...More

Lying in its own spacious and natural country setting, Kildrochet is a very comfortable, comprehensively equipped three-storeys annex to a Georgian country house.
