About the neighbourhood
Portpatrick was once a busy and bustling port, the main port for visitors and goods from Northern Ireland; however, today it's a real holiday destination. There is plenty to do in the village, with fishing trips, a sandy beach, bowling green, tennis court, putting green and golf courses. There are also lovely coastal walks - Portpatrick is the starting point for the Southern Upland Way. There is also a good selection of bars and restaurants.

Golfing breaks, walking and cycling holidays, sea fishing, visiting local gardens and estates such as Stair Estate are just a few of the many ac...
