Rowardennan, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, Scotland
'Tapsalteerie' is an ideal spot from which to go hill walking, cycling, sailing and sight seeing. For the less active, there are plenty of gentle walks and Rowardennan Hotel is a mere 150 yards away, serving food & drinks all day in wonderful surroundings.

The lodge is beautifully decorated in a contemporary style with a high standard of accommodation. The lounge/dining and kitchen area form an airy open plan with french doors onto a south facing deck. The kitchen is amply stocked with an excellent array of crockery, glassware and cooking utensils. There are three bedrooms: two doubles with one en-suite and a smaller room with bunkbeds. The main bathroom has a bath and shower. The washing machine and dryer are situated at the rear of the property.

About the neighbourhood
These are almost too numerous to mention! Loch Lomond is one of the most dramatic & scenic locations in Scotland. There are lots of quaint villages nearby like Balmaha and Drymen with visitor centres and excellent pubs & restaurants. Slightly further afield is amazing visitors complex in Balloch with excellent shops, restaurants and kids activities. From there, the 5 Star Cameron House is just a short drive, as is Duck Bay Marina.
From Rowardennan Pier itself, a ferry operates in season with trips to the other side of the Loch. Ben Lomond towers above the lodge and is a must for hill climbers. The famous West Highland Way also skirts past Rowardennan.
