Fantastically located by the lochside in the heart of Argyll, the house sleeps up to 9 (plus infants) in 5 bedrooms.

Spacious public rooms boast stunning loch views, and a great kitchen and utility room provide everything you need. Ideal for holidays, retreats and celebrations.

A wonderful garden, bounded by waterfalls, leads to the beach. Or you can walk or cycle out of the gate and onto miles of forest and mountain trails. Pub, shop and choice of restaurants nearby.

A family retreat for over 30 years, Inverlounin has recently been thoughtfully updated. A personal service is offered to help you get as much pleasure out of these wonderful surroundings as we do.

our group of friends, 3 couples and 2 dogs had a fantastic long weekend at Inverlounin House and so pleased we chose to stay there. The house is a cosy Victorian house on the shores of Loch Goil and a perfect getaway location to explore the Trossachs National Park. Great walks from the doorstep and great views from the house...

Located about a 30 minute walk from Lochgoilhead centre this property is in a most idyllic location. The double bay windows make for a mesmerising view of the loch and the hills. To one side of the stained- glass hallway is the dining room, the other the drawing room.

The kitchen is a sociable affair with a window seat for lazy lingering, an inspirational inventory and rangemaster cooker.

From the house you can join miles of breathtaking mountain and forest trails, many suitable for cycling. Or take to the sea from Inverlounin's own beach.

2km, a short walk or drive takes you to the village of lochgoilhead with shop, post office, 2 pubs, restaurants, boat and bike hire, leisure centre and riding centre.

Within 30km are Loch Lomond; the Arrochar Alps; historic Inverary Castle; the famous Loch Fyne Seafood and gateway to the world-class Gardens of Argyll.

Inverlounin House is at the end of a mile and half of private single track road leading from the village of Lochgoilhead. Dotted along this road are a mixture of fine Victorian houses, many built by the Glasgow merchants, now used as holiday homes or residences.

The last quarter mile of road is for Inverlounin alone. The house is the only thing at the end so the only thing that is likely to bother you is a Red Squirrel.

Open the front door and you could throw a stone in the sea.
