Briar Steading is a luxury holiday cottage on Loch Earn, built on ancient crofting lands, boasting exceptional views south looking to, Edinample Castle, Ben Our and Stuc A Chroin. The three acre landscaped gardens, include a 250 foot loch garden for petanque, putting, fishing, mooring and launching small boats or kayaks from the slipway. The spacious open plan living area separates the king and twin bedrooms for maximum privacy. The living area offers comfy leather lounge seating, a wood burning stove and a dining table with 6 chairs next to a modern kitchen with integrated appliances, Ipod docking, Superfast broadband with free Wifi throughout the house and patio and Sky Sports TV.

Lochearnhead village has 2 hotels, local grocery store and a village hall. The village has some interesting annual events like a boat race, swim race, wakeboarding events, a village fete, model aeroplane flying, horticultural shows and the Balquhidder Strathyre and Lochearnhead Highland Games. The village is a popular meeting place for bikers and car touring clubs as well as fishermen. This is an excellent base for anyone wishing to explore central Scotland from East to West and it is known as The Gateway To The Highlands.
