The cabin is warm & cosy all year round. Furnished to a high standard, open plan lounge with 42' Plasma TV with Home Cinema, Flame effect fire, dining and kitchen area, 3 bedrooms (master en-suite), main bathroom, washer/ dryer, with parking for 2 vehicles.

It is situated on a Scenic site within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park in Rob Roy country. Graded 4 star by the Scottish Tourist, and AA 3 Pennants, the Park also holds a Silver Green Business Award and Silver David Bellamy Environmental Excellence Award.

The Park is on the site of the old Balquhidder Railway Station - the Railway steps, Platform and Tunnel can still be seen. The Park has resident Red Squirrels and wild flowers and butterflies abound! We were surprised at this bargain. Low cost for very nice accommodation. Location in a trailer place a bit off putting but up the hill some lovely cabins. A great and comfortable stay and the kids loved hiking around.

We went there with some of my friends. The cottage is beautiful and large enough for 6 people. The location is beautiful and easily accessible. Only if the weather was good we could have enjoyed more in that location but the snow made us postponed...More

Lovely spacious lodge. Spent 2 nights here in November. Well equipped lodge with plenty of space. Great base for exploring the area.

Airport: Glasgow or Edinburgh 50 / 55 miles: 80.0 km
We are approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from either Glasgow or Edinburgh airports, and 2 hours from Glasgow Prestwick.

For public transport information you can look at www.travelinescotland.com The bus stop north of us is Lochearnhead (1 mile away), and south is Kingshouse (1/2 a mile). But if you ask the driver they will drop you at our gates .

From Stirling take the A84 signposted Crianlarich. This will take you through Doune, Callander,Strathyre, and directly to Balquhidder Station. The Golden Larches Restaurant is on the left -hand side and Balquhidder Braes Park is 150 yards further on the right.

Please Note: DO NOT take the minor road signposted to Balquhidder village and church.
