Portnellan House is situated within the privately owned Portnellan Estate offering spectacular loch and mountain views across Glen Dochart.

Portnellan House has a magnificent setting with a true Highland landscape all around. Often complimented by the abundance of bird and wild life that can be seen. It is not unusual to see the deer meandering off the hill and passing nearby the house and into the mature private gardens​.

Portnellan House is a beautiful late Victorian lodge house filled with the romance and beauty of a large traditional country home in the Scottish Highlands. The house was built in the late 19th century and boasts many period features from this time.

Having undergone a recent refurbishment Portnellan House is tastefully presented without losing the character of a Victorian property.

Very happy stay in a beautiful house. Everything had been thought of from bikes and wellies to boats, board games. The house was really comfortable with everything we needed. Beautiful walks and scenery.
