The house had plenty of space for 20 of us, the grounds, views and location were all that we wished for. Peace and quiet with an easy stroll to the sea. Friendly owners made us very welcome.

The house is absolutely perfect for family gatherings or a trip away for a group of friends. We were extremely lucky with the weather and spent loads of time at the gorgeous private beach watching the sunset. The gardens are also great for a game...More

About the neighbourhood
Rural, picturesque, ideal for cycling, walking, you can even bring your own horses and ponies , we can accommodate them as well.
There are a number of excellent eating out venues, from Pub Grub to Haute Cuisine and a splendid local Marina at Portavadie, with all state of the art facilities in their infinity pool and Health Spa.
We have a number of recommended Home Caterers who will provide fine dining at home.
We can also provide a Housekeeper for your Group.
Getting around
Ardlamont House is situated in a very rural area, surrounded by natural beauty and wildlife, but if you wanted to venture further out, we are in close proximity to the Portavadie Ferry which gives daily access to the Islands of Gigha, Arran and there Kintyre Peninsula
The Ferry at Colintraive , 25 miles from Ardlamont gives access to the Island of Bute.
