Holiday Rental House
Bluefolds Highland Holiday cottages, Glenlivet, Scotland have panoramic views to the Mountains in the Cairngorms National Park. Pets are welcome. Our 3 cottages are set on a hillside within farmland with lots of open space in Glenlivet. This location, to the east of the Cairngorm Mountains, is dryer and sunnier than areas to the west of Scotland. The wildlife in Glenlivet and the Cairngorms is exceptional such as Red Deer, Roe Deer and Red Squirrels; along with whisky distilleries and castles both lived in and romantic ruins. Aberlour Cottage at the centre of the steading building with 2 bedrooms, 1 twin ground floor and 1 double and single upstairs; :lounge/dinning room and kitchen. The cottage is south facing with patio doors opening into a walled garden within a fenced garden. We loved the wild location and the moors were perfect for walking our dogs. The views down the valley were amazing. Good location for exploring the area, unfortunately some places were not open yet post-lockdown but it didn't spoil our stay. The cottage had patio...More

After reading previous reviews we were actually a bit dissappointed with our stay. Aberlour Cottage is small: Living room, kitchen & dining area all-in-one and really cramped. With just two of us we managed but it would be a tight fit if there were more...More
