Holiday Rental House
Craigh Na Dun is better known as the fictional standing stones on the hit TV show Outlander but did you know that we have our own standing stones here in Borve. My place is close to great views, family-friendly activities, the Trotternish and West Skye Tourist Routes and only 5 minute drive to Portree. Our house is comfortably furnished with both a modern and traditional feel. We are located in a traditional crofting village in the middle of a deer farm. Relax and enjoy your stay. Our dining kitchen is ideal for relaxing and entertaining after a long days tour as is our cosy lounge. Large Screen smart TV, DVD player and Xbox console help you along the relaxation route as well as our board games. How to get there
Directions to Craigh Na Dun Always set SAT NAV to Kyle of Lochalsh initially and then for Borve Highland . Some SAT NAV devices send guests to Mallaig instead of Kyle as its the shortest route. This is because there is a ferry from Mallaig to South Skye. Beware of this. Unless you research Ferry times DO NOT go to Mallaig. When you arrive at Kyle, drive over the Skye bridge onto the island and drive 35 km north on the A87 to the village of Portree. As you enter the village you will see a petrol station on your right. Shortly afterwards you will come to a junction turning signposted for Uig Dunvegan and the Ferry to North Uist. Turn left here and in fact this turn allows you to stay on the A87 North. If you do not turn here then you join
