We arrived at the Grange in sunshine after a wonderful trip on the ferry. The proximity to the beach was a real bonus and the children couldn't wait to take off their shoes and paddle. Short break enquiries welcomed for a minimum of 3 nights outside peak holiday periods. These are priced at a percentage of the published weekly rate, i.e. 70% for 3 nights. Please contact us for a quote for 4 nights or more.

The changeover day can be flexible, depending on the time of year.

A 'Good Housekeeping' Deposit of £500 is required with the final balance payment. This is refunded within 7 days of departure, subject to a satisfactory housekeeping report.

Payment details:
A deposit of 40% is due to confirm booking and the balance + GHK deposit (£500) is due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
Payment can be made online securely by credit/debit card or bank transfer.

The village of Whiting Bay has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and is self-contained with a useful range of small independent shops and services for easy living. The Shore is a popular vibrant spot for morning coffee and also offers a lunch and dinner menu and take-away.

The nearby Felicity's also serves drinks and food. For family entertainment, the Village Hall plays host to an eclectic range of local bands, visiting musicians and ceilidhs.

The Isle of Arran is easily accessible from the Scottish mainland, less than one hour's drive from Glasgow and Glasgow/Prestwick International Airports; and the ferry takes approx. 55 mins.

Travelling by air: Budget airlines operate from Glasgow International Airport (Easyjet, Flybe) and Prestick International Airport (Ryanair). From Prestwick, there is a rail link to Ardrossan Harbour (change at Kilwinning); and from Glasgow Airport, there is a rail link from Paisley Gilmore Street Station and also from Glasgow Central.

Travelling by rail: There is a direct line from Glasgow Central to Ardrossan Harbour (board the front part of the train for the ferry terminal).
